Setting Your Domain's Nameservers to Work with Talent Sites

To ensure your domain connects correctly to your Talent Sites website, you need to update your domain's nameservers. Follow these simple steps:

1. Log in to your Domain Registrar's Account  
   Visit the website where you purchased your domain and log in using your account credentials.

2. Locate Your Domain Settings
   Find the section for managing your domain. This is often labeled as "Domain Settings," "DNS Management," or "Nameservers."

3. Update the Nameservers  
   Look for an option to update or change the nameservers. Replace the existing nameservers with the following:  
   - Primary Nameserver: ns1.talent-sites.com  
   - Secondary Nameserver: ns2.talent-sites.com  

4. Save Your Changes 
   Click the save or confirm button to apply the new nameserver settings.

5. Allow Time for Propagation
   Changes may take up to 24–48 hours to propagate fully across the internet. During this time, your website may experience intermittent connectivity.

**Important:** Be cautious when editing DNS settings. Incorrect changes can make your website unreachable. If you need assistance, contact your domain registrar or Talent Sites support for guidance.

Instructions for Sharing Domain Control on Namecheap

Sharing domain control with Talent Sites on Namecheap is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure your domain is properly connected:

  1. Log In to Your Namecheap Account

  2. Go to Your Domain List

    • Click on the "Domain List" option in the left-hand sidebar.
    • Locate the domain you want to share and click "Manage" next to it.

  3. Access the Advanced Settings

    • In the Domain Dashboard, scroll down to the section labeled "Sharing & Transfer".

  4. Add Talent Sites as a Manager

    • Under the "Sharing Access" section, click "Add New User".
    • Enter the email address provided by Talent Sites for domain access (e.g., domains@talentsites.com).
    • Assign the appropriate permissions, ensuring that DNS/Domain Management is selected.

  5. Save Changes

    • Click "Confirm" or "Save" to finalize sharing access.

  6. Notify Talent Sites

    • Once access is shared, let Talent Sites know so we can complete the setup on our end.
